Folksam supports CAKE’s longer life cycle, high quality products in its mission to drive sustainability
CAKE the Swedish maker of premium lightweight, electric motorcycles and Folksam, today announced their partnership to offer all Swedish resident CAKE owners an advantageous insurance policy by the insurance professionals.
With insurance based on fossil fuel motor vehicles, fees are disproportionate to that of electric vehicles whose presence are new to the market. Folksam believe in CAKE’s high quality approach with their extended lifecycle and ease of maintenance, and therefore have developed a costing system that is comprehensive and advantageous for these electric products at a favorable fee.
“We want to strengthen our position in mobility and accelerate the transformation of the automotive industry. The future is electric and CAKE and their products are an important piece of the puzzle on that journey, which we are happy to join in on.” says Josef Halldelius, Head of Business Development at Folksam General
“We see Folksam as a reliable partner, and that their products live up to the high expectations that our customers have for service and quality. With attractive and complete insurance, we can lower the threshold for our customers to make the decision to order our bikes, allowing acceleration towards sustainability being accessible.” says Stefan Ytterborn, founder and CEO of CAKE
