Poaching has become a growing concern for wildlife conservation areas worldwide, in some cases pushing animals to the brink of extinction. In a joint initiative, CAKE and Southern Africa Wildlife College (SAWC) have set out on a mission to preserve conservation areas from poaching – using quiet, electric, solar-powered motorbikes.

As one of the most powerful bikes in the CAKE catalogue, the Kalk AP is specifically designed for rangers patrolling the wild. Special features include 18” custom-made off-road tires, a rear carrier to attach arms or medical equipment and fenders made of natural fiber biocomposite material.
