about the role

We are looking for a person who is an experienced accounting manager and who has experience from working in high paced & startup environments as well as solid previous solid accounting positions. Being results oriented and keeping a holistic view will be important although the role also implies being in the details.

The profile that we are looking for has worked at least 7 years with accounting. It is desirable that the candidate has experience from a producing company with a group structure. Being comfortable with everything from basic accounting entries to group accounting is a necessity. In addition to the accounting savviness it is key that the person is interested in working in a startup environment and knows that this at times can be challenging - hence, we’re looking for someone who is up for it!

This is a key role in the continued growth of the company and our desire is that you want to grow with us - the opportunity will definitely be there.

You will be reporting directly to our Chief Financial Officer who oversees Finance, HR, Legal and IT.

you are responsible for:

- Accounting in the CAKE group (statutory as well as management reporting)
- Tax and reporting to tax authorities
- Manage the outsourced payroll provider
- Stakeholder in projects (growth / IT / etc)
- Recruitment of future team members
- Internal control
- Input on corporate structure (and legal matters)
- Responsible for monthly, quarterly and annual reporting.
- Responsible for consolidation of all business partners and subsidiaries

you have experience in:

- Accounting in international, producing company
- Group accounting
- IFRS
- Accounting systems (e.g. Business Central, Navision, Dynamics as well as consolidation systems)
- Previous leadership experience is a plus
- Experience with foreign currencies and FX effects
- Experience with board of directors reports & venture capital
- Experience with debt financing
- Experience with _____ ERP system
- Experience at a Direct to Consumer, growth stage startup

background/skills:

- Fluent in English. Swedish and other languages are a plus
- You need to be excellent at handling a lot of data and a great at analyzing and presenting it in spreadsheets
- You have worked at a startup or other fast paced environment / have the desire to work at a startup
- Having worked as an auditor is a plus
- A cross functional leader. Able to work with multiple teams and colleagues quickly, efficiently and accurately.
- Passion for the outdoors, bikes, action sports, solutions to climate change.

Description:

We are very curious to find a person who is results oriented, passionate about driving sales and building relationships. As a UK Sales Representative you introduce Cake’s products to customers, both B2B & B2C. You generate new leads and build relationships, connecting over the phone. For customers with more complex needs, you work with the entire sales team to craft the ideal solutions. Team-work is important to you and you can identify with the journey that Cake is on. Our ambitions are high so we need a person who likes to be in a company at its early stage.

Key qualifications:

You have at least two years of experience selling in the business market.
You’re comfortable developing qualified leads by phone.
You have strong people and presentation skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
You have excellent listening, influencing, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to establish positive relationships with customers, as well as within Cake and our team.
You have a proven ability to connect with people, manage processes efficiently, and prioritize without sacrificing the customer experience.
You can adapt in a dynamic, ever-changing retail environment.

Background/skills:
