Stefan Ytterborn, founder of premium snow and cycling gear maker POC, reveals his next venture.
Following the successful journey with POC, and more than three decades as an influential force in design, product development and communication, Stefan Ytterborn today reveals his next venture – CAKE. Leveraging the joint background from outdoor and innovation, the new technology company develops uncompromised high performance zero emission off-road motorcycles, scheduled to launch in 2017.
”On the mission to speed up the journey towards a zero emission society, my new ride is electric”, says Stefan Ytterborn, founder and CEO of CAKE. “I’m extremely excited to announce that we are innovating new technologies for a sustainable approach to off-road motorcycling, allowing for an optimized riding experience yet being respectful to the planet.”
Launching the first CAKE electric motorcycle in 2017, the goal is to reach a 10 percent market share in off-road motorcycles in 10 years. CAKE is headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, and has its technology office in Taiwan.
